Surgeons office just called me. I had cancelled the follow up appointment for the weight loss pills the idiot cardiologist put me on, and apparently he won't clear me for surgery until I go! I very severely dislike this cardiologist. I don't trust him at all, and I'm being forced to constantly go back to him because he keeps scheduling more stuff and then a follow up with him. This better be the last appointment. I can barely stomach going to him again.

Can you go to a different cardiologist... sounds like he is stringing you along !!!

I'm sorry your going threw that. Maybe explain to your surgeon, think that will help??

I scheduled a follow up Friday, but I'm going to try to go to the surgeons office right after that and if there are any issues they'll hear about it. I've done everything, even got my approval letter, the only thing holding me up is this butthead.

Went to the cardiologist today. He didn't order any more tests (thank goodness). He did give me another months worth of the Phentermine to take until surgery. I just have to stop them at least a week before my surgery date. When I was leaving he took my chart with him and said he was going to write up my clearance right then, and fax it over to the surgeon. So I have to call them Monday to see if they got it. Yay!
