Full liquid stage confusion

So I start full liquids Wednesday. I'm allowed the usual stuff most of you guys were able to have, but also included on the list is blenderized soups....but wouldn't that be more suitable for the pureed stage? I'm not complaining lol, but it seems odd, right??

Just strain your "blended" soup and eat what's put in your bowl. Avoid any thickness or chunks left in strainer. You will do just fine.

As long as you keep the broth it's liquid...if you drain the broth and just purée the stuff it's thicker and a purée.

Ahhh gotcha! Makes much more sense. I was going to put already made black bean Soup in a can and put it in the blender...but you're right, the consistency would be too thick and more suitable for pureed stage. Thanks so much for clarifying!

You can always add chicken broth and thin it til it's slurpable!
