Hello everyone my Name is Cynthia, and I'm pre-op I have my surgery on 1/22/13 I read some people saying they had bad gas so my question is what do u guys recommend for gas after gastric bypass surgery?

I haven't had surgery yet but I've read post about gas pains and they say it's good to take gasx strips and walk

Yes lots if walking and gas x strips helps a lot

Walking helped with me. I just kept walking till I felt better.

2 days post op for me. Gas is horrible. My main pain!! I found that when things hurt so bad if I walk till I burp a little man it feels better!!

I'm making a list of all the things I will need post surgery!! You all are so great here to share with us!

I agree mommywifesndfat I didn't have any surgery pain just horrible gas that was crippling couldn't get comfortable in any position today I haven't had one gas pain yet praying I am done with that
