exercise

I know that this will play a huge role in our weight loss journey. I am curious to know how will you do yours? Will you get a gym membership, exercise at home, or join a class of some kind?

I am walking. Trying to get around the block three per work day, [and I get to walk on the beach on the weekends]. Three miles/day and 21/week. With my Nike Fuel Band, I get to record all this calorie burning and compare myself against friends. Its kind of fun. Good luck.

Right now I go to the gym about 3 times a week and play soccer once a week. In about a month when soccer season starts I will be playing 4 times a week. I am 7 months post op.

Today my surgeon told me I need to work on getting 10,000 steps a day and THEN exercise on top of that! Goodness that's a lot!!

How far are you out from your surgery? That does seem like a ton

11 days!! Lol in his defense he said "work my way up to 10,000 steps, then add gym" but I worked my way up to 10 before surgery... Not quite back yet cus I'm still not at work

That is great...I need to get back into exercising. I am waiting to start my supervised diet before I really start anything.
