Oranges and orange juice?

I am six weeks post op. I asked my nurse at my checkup today if I can have orange juice or oranges. She said not yet. My question I can't believe I didn't ask her is when can I? Any ideas?

    I had gastric bypass November 5 i was told i could drink pulp free diluted orange juice the whole time. But every surgeon is different :-(

    I had my surgery oct 18 and have been allowed OJ since day one and was able to eat oranges at week 7. Haven't had any problems.
