Actually, feel relieved - this question has been asked many times.

The concensus is "wait until you can do it comfortably".

Individual answers vary frm a few days to a few weeks. :)

I waited almost 2 weeks...of course he left on a business trip the 5th day out, and was gone for a week!!! We just adjusted positions to where he did not lay on my incisions---no problems then! They were probably tender and not ready for that for about a month or so.

Have fun!

i waited AWHILE - ended up Freaking the DH out! Well i kept reading the posts about folks being banded and then poof geting preggers that I didn't want to take any chances! I'm kinda baby-pobic. =)

I waited about a month then @ 3 months post op I became a pregger. I had lost about 60 before that. ooops

I waited about a week, I tried before it but it was a no go lol, Whenever you feel comfortable :)

Intercourse has not been a problem, but having an orgasm causes contractions of my abdominal muscles, which in turn causes pain. I'm 3 weeks post-op and orgasms still hurt. But so far it seems that that problem is unique to me. I haven't heard any other bandsters complain about that issue.

I was just wondering that today. My huny was asking about that today. I am due to have the surgery in a week. I have had a really bad and long period this month so he is not happy. I imagine the position also has something to do with how soon you can have “relations”.

I am so glad that I found this forum. I have gotten so many answers about things that I was embarrassed to ask. Not only do I get the answer, I have also learned that I am not the only one with some of these problems and concerns. It is nice to know that I am not the only one out there…:whoo:

We waited 4 days.

I really don't remember, but I can't imagine it was very long.

The goal was just to not put any pressure on my port.
