  1. I got pregnant 3 months post op and I gained 23 pounds. I too had gained 70+ pounds with my first baby. I lost every bit of my weight within a week. I had my baby on Tuesday and wore my favorite (pre-pregnancy) church outfit that Sunday. My family couldn't believe it they kept telling me "don't get your hopes up, well you have done good..I would not be disappointed if you're unable to fit into it". I was so extreamly happy. I wow'd them all. I love my band.
  2. What are the signs of slippage and or erosion? Does anyone know that if you do end up with either slippage or erosion... 1) How long before they will put another band back in? 2) If the Dr. will discount the re-banding? 3) If there is a cost to take out the band and if so, is it expensive? Any insight, opinions, suggestions, personal experiences would be so greatly appreciated.
  3. I had a fill on Wednesday and on Friday I started having "gas pain" in my left shoulder and up my neck - you know the kind of pain you have after surgery. Has anyone else had this? This fill was my 3rd fill and I didnt feel this before. Thanks
  4. Ok heres the deal...I was banded & lost 60lbs in 3 months then I became pregnant. I gained only 22 pounds during pregnancy. I lost all of that plus an extra 7 lbs. the week after giving birth. The bad thing is my baby is 4 months old and I have gained almost 15 pounds since then. I cant get back on track. I went and had a fill ($150.00) and it did nothing for me! Now I need to go get another one but this one has to work @ $150.00 each I cant just keep going back. It is sooo hard to get out and exercise w/ a little one. If you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  5. I waited about a month then @ 3 months post op I became a pregger. I had lost about 60 before that. ooops
