I Can't Wait Till....

  • Popular Post

Im starting a thread on things you cant wait to do/accomplish after surgery..

I can't wait...

  • for that moment where I don't have to use a beach towel after a shower!
  • till I can ride my bike with my daughter without my tire going flat the moment I hop on the bike!
  • to give my daughters a bath with out running out of breath!
  • till I can take my boyfriend out on a date to his favorite place Six Flags without being in fear that the security lock on the roller coaster wont fit me or I wont fit in the seat period!
  • till I can play hide n seek with my daughter and be able to run without feeling like I'm about to collapse!
  • till food is no longer something I seek for comfort yet only for necesity because my body needs nutrients not because my emotions need to be fed!

I've already posted earlier but I thought of another one!!

- be able to walk in a bathroom stall without having to do moves over the toilet to get the door shut/open lol...

Yes!!! I thought of this today when i was at work peeing!

I am less than 3 weeks post-op but i have lots of things i'm looking forward to:

-being able to buy/wear boots that'll fit over my calves

-flying and not having to get a seatbelt extender

-hike with my friends without wanting to die

-wear shorts for the first time in ???

-shop in a store that isn't just for big girls

-go to an amusement park and ride a roller coaster and not being afraid i won't fit and being miserable standing on my feet all day.

-buying a bra at Victoria Secret!

Important things to remember on a day when i am missing friends' date=' family and food.[/quote']

Exactly what I have been thinking !!! :-)

Boots!! I can't wait to own a pair of boots! I haven't had boots since I was a kid!

I want to breathe while tying my shoes

I want to be able to see my bikini line while shaving

I want to wear my wedding rings

No more shin splints when trying to be active

Shopping with my friends without having to go to a different section of the store

- try yoga

- cross my legs

- go to the movies without being nervous about the seats

- go ANYWHERE without being nervous about the seats

- buy cute clothes

- try other...*ahem...things, in the bedroom

- buy sexy lingerie

- go to Fenway Park or a concert and have no worries about stairs or seats

- participate in classes at the gym

- wear a studded belt (always wanted one)

- go to Six Flags or Canobie Lake Park

- not feel like everyone is looking at me as the 'fat girl' everywhere I go!!!!!!!

I want to have NO MORE back pain! And all of the other things that everyone has already said! ;) To some people, these things may seem so small and trivial, but to a big person, they can mean alot!

I want to wear bangles. My hands are to fat to fit through a braclet that doesn't have a hook, even elastic doesn't work.

I can't wait to loose the point of my belly above the Belly button.

Can't wait.. To run and play with my grand children, shop for cute clothes, do sexy dance for my hubby, go party with my friends, oh and cross My legs.

I posted earlier too but thought of more as well....

Can't wait to be able to stand and cook without collapsing from the pain in my back and knees.

Both the bathroom stall issue like everyone else and also (pardon my vulgarness) wipe my butt without it being a major struggle....

To also be the lightest one of my sisters instead of the heaviest.

To be able to borrow close from anyone and pretty much know they'll fit.

To go to the Doctors and not have to be embarrassed when they hand you a Johnny you both know won't even come close to fitting but the "little ones" are all they have.

Like everyone else, to not feel like everyone is staring at you when you walk in a room and thinking... Dam she's so fat....

To not need the extension on the seatbelt in my car because apparently the foreign car makers don't understand that we Americans aren't all tiny, skinny people.

To not dread actually stepping on the scale at the doctors office anymore.

To actually know what "Victory's Secret" really is.... LOL

To not be do afraid to stand up for myself and get what I deserve at my job, instead of always feeling ashamed and worthless because of being so fat. (And the first thing I plan to do when I get back to work after my surgery)..... Ask for the raise that they know I deserve.

I'm sure I'll think of more as time goes on and I'll be back to post again.... LOL

LOL @ to know what Victoria's Secret really is. She has been keeping her secret from big girls far too long!

Also don't wait for your surgery to ask for your raise, if you deserve it, go for it.

I can't wait to:

Tuck my shirt into my pants.

Fit in an airplane seat and not dread someone sitting next to me.

Buy cheap cute clothes in all stores.

Surprise my husband in the bedroom.

Wear a belt.

Go snowshoeing.

Be able to go up stairs.

To cross my legs.

To feel comfy in all the chairs in my house.

To sleep in the same bed as my husband in the camper.

Hiking, biking, swimming, walking, canoeing.

Ride a horse.

Feel healthy and get rid of medicine.

To look cute and have men look at me not because of how big I am.

To surprise my family (wish Mom & Dad were still alive).

Get rid of all my old clothes.

To be able to get in the floor to brush my dogs.

To be able to shave every where and see it.

To work out with my son.

To stop having to check out weight limits for things.

To get a job.

To just do things without thinking about them first.

To go to Victoria secrets for the very first time as a buyer.

To wear cute underwear that is comfortable.

I want to wear leggings without having to wear a long shirt!!! Lol
