  1. I had that when I could first start eating solids... I learned you seriously have to eat slow.. Like take a bit chew an wait 2 min... An the moment you feel full stop eating even if you have a bit in your mouth spit it out cuz that little bit will be to much an make you throw up...
  2. I am almost 5 months post op an I'm down 79lbs... I had a stall for a while also..Doc says you gotta shock your system by switching up eating habits. Like if your on solids drink a protine shake all day for a couple days then go back to solid.. It worked for me..

  4. I think now that I have had the surgery my gag reflex is dam never gone.. I can go farther now than I could before

  6. Is it OK to take Tylenol after bypass.. I have a raging headache an on not sure what I can take...
  7. I can't tolerate it either...I'm not sure if its that it if I eat to fast or to much but every time I eat it I end up throwing it all up.. :-(
  8. I haven't been able to find any totally singer free ice cream so I made my own.. in a blender I put ice ,low fat milk , fresh strawberries, an a lil singer free cool whip to sweeten it up...mmmmm so yummy !!!
  9. I'm 4 weeks post op I bought them an ate them .just chewed really good. A feww an I was full an I got a lot of protine... so I think they are OK... I'm not eating wasted calories yes know :-)
  10. I was looking at pork rinds an they have no carbs no sugar an 7grams of proteins per .05 oz.. what do you all think...
  11. Before surgery I would drink a glass of wine every now an then.. I don't think it would lead to an addiction !!!
  12. I drank coffee all the way till the day before surgery!! I'm 4 weeks post op an I now drink decaf with a lil sugar free french vanilla creamer!!

  14. I'm 4 weeks post op.. I have found I can eat salad with some fine chopped chicken on top.. stayed down well .. I have been having trouble keeping things down..I always seem to have to make myself throw up because I get an awful pain
  15. Just be sure not to swallow it!!
  16. Yes...it helps with the bad breath you get after surgery..
  17. Do not swallow..It has natural sugars in it an it can give you the dumps!!! Just some info I seen on here!!
  18. God I feel so much better seeing this..Lol..I thought it was just me..I'm almost 4 weeks post op an it just started last week.. I put a lil yeast cream on an it went away!!
  19. I already know I'm gonna have the "mothers apron" no matter how much I work out.. I am 4 weeks out an still on purée food.. I know I am going to have to have the tummy flab removed just hoping I can get my insurance to cover it..
