Heartburn?

I am 13 days post-op and it is the second day i've had heartburn. Anybody else have this?

I have only experienced it once post op but my surgeon requires that you take Prilosec daily for six months after surgery. The acid is too rough on the new pouch. I would contact your Doc. Good luck.

Thanks. I had actually emailed his nurse already but didn't expect a reply til tomorrow. She emailed me back and said it was ok for me to take the chewable Pepcid twice a day instead of just once.
