Dating/love Life Post Op

  • Popular Post

Just curious......how has your love/dating/sex life been since the WLS? When you meet someone new, do you tell them about your surgery? Do you wait and if so how long? How have things changed? Better? worse? same?

This is NOT intended to pry into anyone's personal life. Just interested in the responses.

I dont know about dating. I am married, but before surgery sex was not even an option. I felt like I was gonna stroke out every time. Now I am starting to get a sex drive again and soon I think things will be going wonderfully.

I know I get tons more confidence when I am thinner. People treat you different when you are heavier then when you are thin. When I am thin I get doors opened, assisance with carrying things, just treated a whole lot different than when I am heavy. Its sad that the public treats overweight people so bad :(

When was your surgery?
