Health Questions

Is anyone dealing with pain post op? I'm 2 months out & I know there will be readjustment pains. What I'm wondering is if anyone is dealing with other issues. Everytime I stand up from a sitting position it feels like a little painful electric.shock going down my legs. I've never experienced this in my life. I've only been doing it a few days. I do have scoliosis and losing weight has irritated my spine but still, its so weird. The scoliosis is higher so it affects my shoulders and neck, not so much hips or legs.

Surgeon told me this is due to me not taking my Calcium & now I take it & the legs stop feeling numb.

Sounds like nerve or ciatica nerve (sp?).

Time to find a chiropractor. Are any Med's you may be taking have side affects like low back pain. My gallbladder Med's give me a small backache every now and then.

Feel better soon

You probable should talk to your Surgeon and Primary Doctor about this, esp lower legs going numb that is not normal.

You should call your doctor for sure. Lower legs hoping numb or getting that electric shock is not normal and it can be something mayor or very miner but better not to mess around with it. I have a slipped disk and they wanted to do surgery. Fortunately losing the weight is helping and dr says we will play it by ear and see how I am after the weight loss. So pls call ur dr.
