I think the first thing I tried was fish, and it went very well. Just watch out for drier meats, they are hard to get down.

I think it was cheese, which I practically let it melt in my mouth before I swollowed. I progressed very slowly, I was so afraid of getting sick. My problem was when I did get sick, I was not chewing my food enough... now I chew, chew, chew, chew and chew some more :)
