I think everyone loses weight at a different rate. It depends on somewhat on your starting weight. Just make sure you are eating healthy and focus on protein and fluids first, low carbs. Go by Dr. Recommendations and exercise! You will do great.

It does depend on what your starting weight was. I started out VERY overweight (I hate the term morbidly obese)...I am 3 weeks out and have lost about 27 lbs since the morning of surgery. Usually (not always) the heavier you are the more you lose. Don't get down on yourself.
