Any Ideas?

I had my RNY revision on 8/20, I am on full liquids and am having a feeling for the past two days like something is stuck under my chest and I am hiccuping or burping more and it very uncomfortable. The only thing I have had other than liquids is my nexuum pill, per my dr. Has any experienced this?

I had that at the beginning and the suggestion from my dr was I was drinking too quickly. I had to cut back to small sips about 10 min apart. Just be careful not to cut back too much as then I became dehydrated from fear of feeling that way again.

Same here if I take to big a sip it get stuck in my chest.

Keep your eye on it it is not uncommon for people to develop a stricture. If it continues don't wait call your Doctor

Haven't had surg yet but have heard of using child sippy cups. I suppose that is to regulate how much you get in one sip?

It takes time to get use to sipping and not chugging but you will get the hang of it
