I Got A Surgery Date, September 18Th!

Of, course I still have a huge list of tests and checks to get done before then. My EGD is Friday. I'm sure missing alot of work, not just for Dr. Appts, but also for my 7month old son. I just hope I don't get fired before insurance works out. FMLA don't fail me now. Too bad you can't limit your stressors to one at a time. I hope everyone else is doing fine!

Thanks! It has already started to blur together- sleep study, weight checks, psych visits, etc... Will be nice to get to go a few weeks with no doctors at all. After all, life keeps going on around me. Isn't that why I'm doing this? If all goes well, I should lose most of my weight by spring next year. I can't wait for swimming, fishing, hiking, and camping again!

Good luck on your surgery.

Congratulations on your date! My surgery is Sept 19. We could be bypass buddies...lol. All my testing is done. Do you have to do a pre-op liquid diet?
