Pre-Op Nutritionist Appoint

Irate off let me say I was none to impressed my the dietician I had to go see. My psych and her were chosen by the surgeons office.

My concern with her is her main training/experience is with lap-band. But I sat and listened to all the info. The up side is that she said I had good insurance so I will be able to have 7 post-op nutrition appointments.(I think I will try to find another)

So yes I have the 14 day pre-op diet. Hence why right now I am waiting for my sushi order for lunch.

I have to buy the Bariatric Advantage Meal Replacement powder

Anyone else try these or had to use those?

I have to have those three times a day Then I can have a control/protein bar as a snack twice a day.

Post-Op

Full liquids 2 weeks

Semi-soft 2-4 weeks

Soft 2 weeks

Then regular

So yes I will be not endulging but eating my favorites (not over doing it) but just enjoying the last of my Pasta favorites till then.

Looking at maybe Having to start the pre op first week of aug?

So it begins.........

Hmmm, great....I have my appt. next Tues with dietician. She's a referral from bariatric office too. The psych went well. I fooled him. Got a good report. ;) I only get 2 visits a year with my dietician. Hope I like her. Know I'm having a problem with artificial sweeteners. I get a reaction to them.
