On tuesday I will go or my initial consult with the surgeon. I will still have my psych and nutrition appointment to go to.

What questions did you all have for your surgeon?

I have gotten great Information from all of you and I will be able to turn to you when I need but was there question i should have ready just for him?

I have a few already such as

Have you ever lost a patient?

What will is post op diet plan be?

And some others ones anyone can think of?

Dose he do it open or laparoscopy?

If they find a hernia - will they repair? Recommended recovery time before lifting, driving, sex, etc. Also, I had to 2 weeks post op injections of Lovenix to prevent blood clots - they mandated it for BMI over 50

Make sure you get all of the info on dietary guidelines so you can mentally prepare what your eating and drinking will be like post op.
