I Made It!

I had my surgery on Wednesday. My Dr. took my gallbladder out and fixed a hiatal hernia that I didn't even know that I had. Its kinda hard to believe that I actually had the surgery done. I was a bit sore the first two days afterward, today I feel pretty good.

  • I don't think there's anything to worry about. My doctor said most overweight people have them. Once we lose the weight it might correct it self if it's not that big.

  • So I am 4 days post op, starting to feel better. I've got one incision that bothers me. I guess it's where he took my gallbladder out and sutured the hernia. I am glad I had the surgery. I keep tellin

Thank you ladies so very much. You are true family. I agree you couldnt have said it better. You girls are helping me a whole lot thru this. I seem to be having more bad days then good. But again 2 weeks is really new. Your pictures are so inspiring to me. Just knowing one day i will post pics like that and feel great makes me happy and excited.

How are you ladies doing?

Ok so today was my first post op appointment with my surgeon. It went well. Dr said Im healing just fine. And I had mentioned that i was getting discouraged and he looked at me and said.... Are you crazy, when was the last time you lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks. I started to laugh and he did too. Dr reassured me I am right on track. Right where Im suppose to be.

So just wanted to thank everyone for the support. Its my time to shine and no one will stop me.

Good luck to all bariatric friends. We have to stick together. We all can do this.
