Super Worried!

I'm 16 and had my gastric bypass on the 16th of January. I have already lost around 4 stone. When I first had it done I could barely eat but started to introduce new foods. Now, an average day is ;

Breakfast - 2 slices of brown toast with no crust

Later after breakfast - a yoghurt and a packet snack a jacks.

lunch - a full tin of Soup

Tea- 3 chicken nuggets, 2 pieces of brocolli/roast potato

Before bed - a yoghurt

I am concerned that I'm eating too much and I don't have much variation in my diet at the minute. I don't really monitor calories and like I said, I'm concerned I'm eating too much. Does anyone have any advice?

Many thanks, Emma

You said uou've lost around 4 stone. How many pounds is that? Here in the states thry say that you should be eating about 4 ounces per meal

Are you still losing weight? If so you're probably fine. If not I would change it up a bit so that you're getting more protein and less starch. Stateside they continuously stress proteins . Some form of it at every meal and it should be 2 bites of protein to one bite of whatever else. I hope this helps :)...and of course a good walk everyday also helps :)

Thanks Panda, interesting 2 bites protein to 1 of anything else, good one and easy to remember.

You are both very welcome. Im fortunate enough to have continual contact with a bariatric nutritionist. :)
