Sleeved 8/26-

Anyone else sleeved about the same time and drinking coffee??

I was told I couldn't drink coffee after surgery but I see a lot of people saying that they drink coffee-

I miss it!

What were your instructions regarding coffee??

      Oh yeah, you don't want to put cream and sugar and all that in there....you'll end up drinking calories that way. Don't go drinking one of those sugary drinks you get at the coffee shops.

      I believe the acid in coffee can be a problem, besides the caffeine causing dehydration and acid. My dr said the caffeine also increases hunger. I think you could plan for that. I have decaf now and t

    i was and have been allowed to drink coffee with milk through pre-op and immediately post-op. i waited nearly two weeks post op to have it and it went right through me. only thing i've had so far post op that hasn't agreed with me, unfortunately.

    I was sleeved on 8/27. Stopped coffee the day of surgery and just started drinking it again a couple weeks ago. No issues whatsoever. My NUT said no more than 8 - 16 ounces AND to drink equitable amount of extra water when I drink coffee.
