FYI...allergies and hunger

I hope this is not a TMI moment but here goes.....FYI - if you have allergies (and post nasal drip with them) watch out for possible "hunger pangs". I was miserable from "hunger" that even a protein packed meal would not satisfy. Turns out, what I really had was allergic post nasal drip that was troubling my stomach and making me think I was hungry. Be sure to treat your allergies (Claratin works great for mine) and keep the false hunger away.

That is awesome you mentioned that!! I was having awful nausea even after a week post op. I went into the doctors concerned about that and something unrelated. At the end of my appt. I asked when I was allowed to go back on my Allegra and my other allergy meds. My PA looked at me and said "Take them and see how you feel tomorrow. I bet your nausea is being caused by post nasal drip." She was totally right.

Now, it's been about 10 days and I've been getting hunger pangs and wondering why. I just realized today it's been a few days since I've taken my Allegra!!

That's great. First thing in the a.m. I'll be taking it :)
