splenic hematoma?

So a week after surgery I developed this strange low grade fever, after lots of blood work and CAT scans they determined I have a splenic hematoma. Has anyone else had this?

I've not had surgery yet, but have they advised you how they want to treat it? Have they further advised you how it occurred? Wishing you lots of luck....!

The spleen was bumped during surgery . Caused a blood clot in the spleen . The body is absorbing it and it is almost gone . I have had a fever in about 5 days so I believe I have beat it !

I am glad you sought medical advice and are on your way to recovery!
