Awesome! Enjoy the process. I loved the preop phase... It was HARD but during my preop diet, I proved to myself that I could do this!

  • Thanks! It really is gonna be a challenge considering my husband eats what he wants and is of course pretty fit! But he said he will try to start eating better with me so that helps!

How is your liquid diet going. Day one for me down. Not that bad. A little concerned about going on a business trip next tues and wed. That will be trying for sure.

Hope its ok if I join in on this. I'm on day 6 of my liquid diet and going insane. But onlt momentary insanity; most of the time its ok. And my hubby is super supportive. My date is coming up on the 1st. I'm getting excited!! How are y'all doing??

I start on Wed, my date is Oct 17th

Day 1 was way better than day 2 for me...day 2 was rough!

Day 2. Already a headache. Not starving but I do suffer from migraines. Not happy hopin it subsides so I can stay focused.

I had a 30 liquid pre opp before having my band removed, and I will have to do it again before being sleeved. Gahh! My date is 11/26 , I'm kinda terrified. Good luck to you.

I get migraines too. I have since I was five. Are you keeping track of your Protein? I found that as long as I get enough protein I'm ok (so far, knock on wood.) I drink at least one Isopure per day.

I just started liquid diet yesterday. Don't know if isopure is ok for my liquid diet? Are you currently on liquid diet.

I cant.have it...not even broth but the day.before surgery. Ive had.broth.though but only 1 serving. Everyone else gets.broth those dang carnation breakfast shakes make me.nauseous!

I'm on optifast. I can have a salad if I'm really hungry. Just a little worried if my migraines are going to be an issue. They said day 2-3 are tough. Day 2 almost done. Uugh

Yeah I'm on day 7 of my liquid diet. Days 2-3 were the worst for me. I drink the clear Isopure you can get from Vitamin Shoppe. It's so weird how every individual's liquid diet is different though. Hang in there! It gets better!
