Had my surgery on Wednesday 9-18 , and have a lot of gas ,, my mother suggested Mint Tea .. I'm just so afraid to take something that my doctor did not suggest.

I think Mint Tea should be fine but if you're worried call your doc.

I think most decaf, unsweetened teas are fine, but your doctor can confirm that. Good luck with your recovery & welcome to the loser's bench! :)

Thanks will call doctor to confirm..

I drank a lot of mint tea the first week- it really helped with the nausea I had from the meds. I still drink it at least 2-3 times a week.
