Day 2 sleeved

Well yesterday was the big day and I'm feeling great. No nausea and pain is at a minimum. My doctor attaches a pain ball directly to the stomach that constantly shoots pain medicine to the suture site. Best thing ever. I had a popsicle at 4am and have had a little chicken broth, Jello-O and water since. I took three walks yesterday and another three today. Every now and again I get a shooting has pain in my left shoulder, but walking and blowing into that oxygen thingy are helping that. I hope recovery continues to be this uneventful!

Good luck on your journey. It sounds like you are doing great. Keep it up!

How are you feeling today? Is the pain more bearable? How much longer do you have to stay?

I am in no pain and spent only one night in the hospital. I've been home since Tuesday at 1PM. I keep telling people that this surgery is easier than childbirth.

Congrats on your new life I'm glad your surgery went well and your recovery is smooth, keep us updated.

Thanks, Cupcake. I will. Right now I'd say my biggest complaint is insomnia! :)
