Heading to Mexico tomorrow!

I'm having surgery on friday at Florence Hospital. I'm going alone and I have a question about my valuables while I'm in surgery. I'm obviously going to have my passport and a little cash and a creidt card with me. What do you do with these things while your out of your room? I'm starting to worry about the stupid littlle things now but it's stressing me out. I figured I could lock them in my suitcase but anyone would walk off with my luggage. Any one else go alone with an answer for me? PLEASE?

I was at that hospital on 8/31/13. I think if you lock in your suitcase you will be okay. Don't take much cash at all. Don't forget to call and let the bank or credit card co know you are in Tijuana or they will not work. Speaking from experience and I work at the darn bank! It was a secret where I was going and didn't think about not being able to use my cards. Luckily I was able to facebook a co-worker that I trusted to get it working of me :) Funny-funny. Good luck! The nurses really are good and will treat you right.

Will your coordinator be there with you? Maybe they can watch your bag while in surgery? Keep us posted on your surgery! God Bless!

My son (23 yrs old) wanted to come with me but I couldnt afford a passport and a plane ticket for him. So in return he will be staying home taking care of our dogs so I didnt have to worry about that. Im glad your son gets to travel with you...pretty awsome!

Hi Pattie, I am just checking in on you. I hope everything went well and you are recovering :)

Yes, thank you so much. I am doing well. Still very uncomfortable in the belly area but otherwise all is good. Just had my leak test and I passed with flying colors.

Awesome!!
