Pepto

I am a week and a half post op is it safe for me to take Peptones and if so how soon after can I take my Ranitidine (Zantac)?

    If you mean pepto bismol, absolutely. My surgeon starts all patients on Tums, Pepto, Prilosec right out surgery.

    I am surprised they didn't give you a start date on your existing prescription (zantac) I was allowed to start my existing prescriptions on day 3, but they were anti depressants.
