Newbie Here!!!

Hi everyone,

My name is Michelle (BMI 43.6) and I live in a little suburb outside of Chicago.

I just went to my first seminar and I have decided to go ahead and

be lapbanded. I am waiting for my first appt. with Dr. Bonomo at

Mercy Hospital in Chicago, to start my long road that leads to a happy,

healthy life. I hope to make friends with others who have had, waiting to have, or thinking about having lapband!!! If you have had Dr. Bonomo write me and let me know what you like and dislike about him or his program, I would appreciate it so much!!!! I think it's terrific you all support each other and are there to listen, and I hope to be apart of all of this. :rolleyes:

    Hi Michelle,

    Dr. Bonomo and his staff are great! They make the whole process very easy and they are really on top of things. The counseling/support they provide before and after surgery is excellent which alot of people don't get. I'm sure I'll see you at one of the group meetings after your first appt. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
