Nicotine test takes two weeks!?!

Gahhhhh. Why does everything take so long?! I quit smoking over a year ago. This is the very last thing before I'm boarded for surgery. Damn damn damn. Why does it take 2 weeks for results?

Just a vent.

That seems really long. I was told that they would run a urinalysis the day of surgery, if there was nicotine in my urine they would cancel

I think it's long too. I've had cystic fibrosis testing sheer they grow my DNA in a dish and that didn't even take two weeks. Blah.

My insurance requires a nicotine test before my 6 months start and I think my last appointment. It only took mine a week for results.

I quit 3 weeks before nobody tested i guess.
