drank too much

Im going through my day to see if I did nething different to have caused my recent pain. Im still on liquids. I can drink 6-8oz of water/gatorade within an hour. Is that too mcub too quick? Can that have caused my pain? I can also drink 4oz broth, 1 popcicle (1.65oz) &about 1-2 oz of sf jello at one time. Is this normal too? Or am I drinking too much at a time? Just tying to find out wat caused my pain so suddenly

  • 30ml is in 1 ounce. I've been able to take nearly normal drinks of any liquid since 2 days out. As long as it doesn't hurt you should be good.

  • I'm still in the hospital and by day two (yesterday) I had no trouble with an ounce at a time of protein drink as well as decent sips of water. Was concerned this is too easy too soon!!

Hey, I seem too be able to drink more than I'm supposed to too. Thought it was just me. I'm in UK so measure stuff by millilitres and grams. I can down 500ml in an hour and can consume 1/2 can of soup in half an hour when the literature days I should only bed to manage

I can down 500ml in an hour and can consume 1/2 can of soup in half an hour when the literature says I should only be able to manage a few spoons. And I feel hungry too. Am hoping this will change when I move on to pureed foods. :-( does anyone know how many grams or millilitres an American ounce is?

Cheers hun, much appreciated. Yeah, haven't had any pain yet. Some slight discomfort if I sip too fast but that's only happened a couple of times.
