4 days post op when I have been burping it tastes like a tin can or just very strange. Anyone else experience this? Is it from the gas?

Yes I have the same taste! I had surgery 8/19 and have only been able to drink broth from plastic spoons...metal is a no go! Unsure why this is!

I was unable to drink anything without that horrible taste, as well. Water even was bad. I lived on ice chips for one month post op, then I was able to tolerate water, crystal light, etc. but, yeah... It took me a month to get that taste out of my mouth. And, trust me, ur breath probably isn't very nice either. That goes away too!

Good Luck!!
