Too Small :(

I've been looking at before and after pics, and now I'm really worried I'll end up too small. After spending all my life being curvaceous, I don't want to end up a twig! I've spent my whole life telling myself that I'm beautiful bigger, what if I hate it being skinny? Is there a way to stop losing weight? Do I get to pick where to stop? I still want to be me!

Are you doing that 5 2 diet thing? How is that working for you?

Yeah, since mid June.... Weight had just stopped. I've dropped 12+ pounds since then.

Not a miracle to some but for me? Very good.

I like the two rest days a week.

Lasts honey.. Just saying

I know - ladies only - but the guys are boring and well, I like women. And uninvited as it is, I think I can add a different perspective. You said " I've spent my whole life telling myself that I'm beautiful bigger, what if I hate it being skinny? " You know what? You are admitting that you had to tell your self you look good when you were big. Guess what, that is BIG PERSON thinking!!! You no longer have to tell yourself that your appearance is acceptable. PERIOD. It is. You are you and you should not have to convince yourself that you look good - not when you are big and trying to rationalize your appearance when you are unhappy with it. But it is a broad and clear statement. You do not have to base your opinion of yourself on your appearance. Thick, Thin, no matter. That is just a look. You have made a huge life change - that is great. But with that make the attitude change - My self worth is not that same as my appearance and my weight is not the source of my beauty. You may have to get used to the look of a thin you. Basically, by being thin you will conform with what others expect of you. What about you? What do you expect? Thin will be a new look. Regardless, it will be how YOU look, love it, embrace it - thick or thin - it is you. Love you, you do not need to feel bad about your appearance. Be proud of your decision, your sacrifice - and your new thinner self. good luck.

Lose an extra 20 pounds....I don't believe that that is the bast advice...Like the lady said before ( live in the present ) tomorrow will have its own anxieties! A 10 lb buffer will be your cue to lose or stay the same.....Your body will stop when it gets where it is most comfortable....And later on if you stretch out your sleeve then you can put the weight back on ...Or by going back to your old habits....eating the wrong stuff constantly. And not dealing with the issues that brought you to this place.....
it may not be the best advice for you!,,, but it work for me and I have reached my goal! I am living in the present at my goal! I eat healthy and feel great!

Girl I had a big ole booty.. and I'm down 80 lbs in 4 mths and guess what its gone !!! All of it !!! Yup I try not to look at it in jeans or so cause I wana cry. I've always had a big booty with a smaller waist. But u know what the joy of fitting in a size 12 is priceless. I used to wear a size 20. So for me thinking I looked better bigger has changed. I now look in the mirrors and say its fixable. Thats my new motto. And I have a very supportive husband who also helps. Kinda. Lol

I recently posted about this same topic...search for a post about light weights, or search for some recent posts that I was in thru my profile..I got alot of positive responses. Btw what's your current stats.

I'm 5'3" /215/ BMI 38.1

*sigh..... too small? TOO SMALL??? I want that to be my thought at least once!!! rofl.... I'm tall at 5'7" so as a kid I was at the top of the bleachers dead center for every pic....I felt "bigger" before I was actually bigger.... I just wanna wear sexy heels without feeling like Big Bird. Ballet was just a joke for me even though my Mama made me go for 13 years... I was thin and a great dancer, but still.....5'7"....not exactly "prima ballerina" status..... I guess I'll settle for tall and "willowy" roflmbo
