foamies question

I'm 12 days post op, and this morning I had 1/4 cup of nonfat greek yogurt.....with a a tablespoon of Protein powder mixed in.

I ate 1/2 of it around 8 a.m. and the other 1/2 around 10 a.m.-----probably took 1/2 an hour both times, eating slowly and small bites.....it's noonish and I'm getting foamies........did I eat too fast? too much?

I'm on full liquids, and didn't feel full....guessing I probably should have left out the Protein Powder.....I've been having yogurt and protein supplements since tuesday....but this was the first time I put the PP in the yogurt.

Any input from those experienced with the foamies would be great......I feel like I've hit a milestone in my sleeved life LOL

Thanks!

OK, I guess I must be an anomoly because I don't mind the foamies, I think it's kind of interesting. Maybe it's only been mild?

I spent my first few weeks post op spitting up into a plastic bag while driving my kids to school. If I drank even 1/3 of my protein shakes, I foamed over. Now, it's pretty unpredictable. Sometimes I can eat 2 oz, sometimes I can't. It's ok at home, out in public, not so much.

Thanks.....yup finished it to get the protein in......greek yogurt is on my full liquids list.

I put the protein powder in it for a different taste.....plain yogurt is getting old...I tell ya, Tuesday and pureed foods can't come soon enough ;)

Dannon blends makes a smooth greek yogurt and comes in coconut, orange, lime and something else yummy. Look for them!
