It's been a wild ride already! Had a reaction to Torodol while still in the hospital, but a high dose steroid calmed that down really quick. Also had a hiatial hernia repair as well. Was discharged after one day, at home and doing great! I kind of get really full a lot quicker than I expected, but I'm meeting my protein goal every day and drinking light juice as well. Down 11 lbs already! Not much pain, just a little nausea and bloating, which is helped by Gas-X. Been doing some light walking around the house and easing into more activity as I heal. Feeling stronger every day! Still trying to wrap my head around that this has actually happened. No doubt the best thing I've ever done for myself! Just wish I hadn't waited until the ripe old age of 44 to make this life changing decision! Anyone in the Charlotte NC area should consider Dr. Jon Pirrello and Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews. They are fantastic!
