Asthma sufferers

I am pre surgery and was wondering if anyone on her has severe allergies to not only animals (cats) but environment to the extent they are on steroid inhalers, occasional steroid shots and daily medications to control it. If so has the surgery helped you with any of the symptoms and how did the steroid meds effect your weight loss?

Looking forward to people weighing in on this one! I am still pre-op but I use an inhaler daily, plus have a rescue inhaler and it never once occurred to me that having this surgery might make the asthma go away! The allergies, I'm sure I'm gonna have to live with but if the asthma goes bye bye things would certainly be easier!

I am pre-op as well. I have arthritis, asthma. And fibromyalgia . And I am praying that losing the weight will help me breath better and hopefully have less Dailey pain.
