9 days post op pics

I had my panni 9 days ago and can finally stand up straight enough to snap some pics. Still quite swollen but feel so much better than before.

It probably wouldn't cover on my sides but i think she had to do the incision that way to make sure i didn't have the "dog ears." Im not worried about it. Im glad i don't have skin slapping my thighs

  • Sorry they are sideways. Not sure how to rotate them.

Looks great! You're so brave.

You look amazing! I'm very interested in this surgery but worried about the pain since I live alone. About how long would you say it was until you could get around on your own? How is the pain now? Also how long did you plan to take off of work? Thanks so much for the info & pictures. Definitely an inspiration for me!

The pain wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. I left the hospital with 28 percocet and still have 6-7 left. I could get around ok by myself but Im a single mom so it was hard doing stuff for my son. Pain in minimal now. I took a week off of work cuz that's all the paid time off i had since i haven't been at my job long. I have a desk job and sit at a computer for 8 hrs so i was fine going back that soon. I would totally do it over again for the results that i got. Not having my skin slap against my thighs is totally worth it.

Do you mind me asking where you got it done & how much it cost you? Congrats! Looks awesome!

I had it done at the same hospital i had my sleeve done at where i live. My insurance covered it.

That is so awesome your insurance covered it! What was your surgery weight & how long did it take you to get where you're at now?

My pre surgery weight was 266. Before i had my panni i was about 172 and it took about 8 months to get there. Im about 167 now.
