sweetener reaction

Hi all: sleeved on 7.29.13 and still on liquids. I was feeling really horrible and having a hell of a time getting my liquida and protein in. Finally it hit me how much artificial sweetener i was consuming!i made the switch from vitaman water zero to unsweetened iced tea and feel like a whole new person. I also cannot stand all of the sweetness any longer. Anybody else?

i think it is two fold. The surgery sometimes affects the sweet factor, but also just decreasing the amount of sweetness affects the sweet factor.

I think eliminating anything artificial is always in a good direction.

I usually avoid the artificials but i gave in in favor of the protein and nutrients.

I drank the chocolate premier (which I thought was less sweet than a lot of other protein drinks) but I was getting tired of them until I started adding a Tablespoon of Instant decaf coffee to them...WOW...I actually enjoy drinking them now :) I am out 8 weeks or so and still drink one everyday just to be sure I get enough protein!

You are my hero! I never even thought to do that. The bitterness would certainly reduce that sweetness!
