It is best to ask your Nut or Dr. They can give you the program that they use. I was told anything low carb and high Protein. So that left me open for lots of options. Find one you like and don't buy too much of it as most of us have our tastes change post-op.

Best wishes to you.

If I had to do this again and the doctor left it up to me what i could have during my preop diet, I'd do 5 meal-replacement (not supplement) shakes a day supplementing with chicken broth as needed and NO food whatsoever. I'd drink as much Water as I could stand daily and I'd expect the first four days to suck as my body detoxed carbs and such but I'd keep doing the treadmill. And I'd take liquid tylenol for the headaches while i detoxed.
