Toning

Hello. I am still Pre-sleeve, but I would really like to start with toning in the inner thighs area, and what I like to call my " kangaroo pouch" after my c- section? I want to avoid a hot mess of loose skin if possible. Any ideas?

The younger you are, the more elastic the skin but, according to my doctor, there is nothing that will help sagging skin except plastic surgery.

If you're just looking for a program, I think anything with some sort of weights, band, etc. will do. Everyone here does different things to tone. Try to figure out something you enjoy. Maybe try a few different things.

Once you find what you like, then you can come up with a regular schedule. The key is to be sure you like it enough to continue once you've been sleeved.

Try Pilates. If you belong to a gym, take a Pilates class, if offered. You can also do it at home with a DVD. Ellen Barrett from Crunch Fitness does a great job on her DVD's. You'll get a good workout too.
