I NEED ADVICE

Hey y'all. I went for my endoscopy last week and my surgeon just called and said A scope came back positive from my endoscopy for a bacteria into stomach that causes ulcers. She put me on an antibiotic for two straight weeks and six weeks later I'm scheduled to take a blood test just to ensure that the infection is gone. I'm worried this will be a stall for me. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know of anyone this has happened to?? What was the outcome for you/them if so? Please help!!!!

Missy

I believe it's H pylori and I don't think it's a big deal. It sounds like your physician has it under control. Don't worry. I would take this as a sign that your doctor knows what she's doing. Good luck!!

Thank you for the advice. I think you're right. I start taking my anti-biotics tomorrow. Fingers crossed that they work!

H-pylori is the bacteria. I have it. I was sleeved on 7/22/13 as planned.

No. I had to take a secondary breath test drink some nasty liquid & all was well.

Saw your new post you are fantastic! Rocking your sleeve girl!! Thanks for the input. I'm not sure as to why I have these three different meds but I will take them and hopefully they do the job. You're doing well honey

I had that. It is H Pylori....they gave me 3 diff kinds of antibiotics that I had to take for 2 weeks. Then I had to wait 4 weeks after I was done with the antibiotics to give a stool sample to see if meds worked. Just make sure u dont skip a dose n u should b fine...
