Newbie

Hello fellow NY and other sleevers!

I'm a newbie but have been lurking awhile!

I am in the beginning stages. I had my initial workup 14 mos ago and a follow up last month. I'm in the Albany Medical Center program. Anyone else had their procedure there? I'd love to connect...

Ive done a ton of research and definitely hope the sleeve will be approved by my insurance. (MEDICARE) BY the time I'm prepped and ready!

I have my initial nutrition consult and education in 2 weeks. I've lost 10#s towards my necessary loss.

I finally understand that its a "tool" - one of many that will help me get healthy.

I look forward to moving ahead with you and receiving tips & tidbits as well as encouraging you on the journey! !

Yeah for you and welcome. You're right...it's a tool that controls quantity but it's still an individual choice on quality.

Welcome.. I hope all goes well for you
