Three days post-op: Some back pain

Hi everyone,

I'm 28 and had my surgery Thursday at St. Agnes in Baltimore. Home now, on a drain, trying to drink and get enough Protein.

I'm wondering, does anybody else have back pain after surgery? I don't know if it was just that awful bed at the hospital or if this is related to the surgery?

Glad I found this forum! It's great!

I had back pain. I don't know why but it got better probably a week after surgery. I figured it was bcuz I was laying on my back most of the time. Warm blanket helped in the hospital and lots of pillows to keep me propped up. It gets better!

I have back pain and I thought it was just from having the surgery. I feel like I'm protecting my incisions n not walking right or so I thought.......
