My surgeon offers Actigall if you want to take it post op to help prevent gall stones. Just wondering who has taken it and if people think it works? The nurse practitioner thought 50/50. I am not a huge fan of meds, thought I would get your opinions! Thanks.

I take it 2x day and I hate it but I've do e everything my mD told me too and so far no issues so I will keep taking it until I don't have to

I was given a prescription at my 1 month followup to take for 4 months twice a day. One more pill to take but only for a short while. No issues so far.

My doctor told me it reduces a 60% chance of getting gallstones to a 4% chance (or something like that).
