Chewable Vitamin C?

I have an incision that is still not healed, and I have done some research that shows that high levels of vitamin C can help with a non-healing wound. Has anyone heard that we cannot take chewable vitamin C? Of course I always have these questions on the weekends when my bariatric nurse is off....

    I had my 1st follow up visit yesterday and I told them I was takin vitamin c, b12, Calcium chew, & my bariatric vitamin.. They were fine with it...
