Morning Mucus

HELP! My doc told me that mucus could be what is making me nauseas in the morning? Because there is such a build up of mucus in my sleeve overnight, liquids can't get down, this making me feel sick. He put me on Claritin and Mucinex... probably for life. It still isn't working tho! I even take hot showers and try to hack it all up first thing in the morning. He also suggested starting the day with hot tea or coffee, but even that makes me feel like I'm going to hurl. Any ideas??

Have you the taking a ppi before you go to bed? You can get omeprazole over the counter and it works pretty well.

Is my Nexium the PPI? I take it in the morning. I tar the Claritin before bed... but to be honest, I can't get the NASTY Mucinex liquid down!!

Nexium is one. Omeprazole is actually genetic for Prilosec. It works better for me.
