I canceled my appt. with my primary doctor because of www.lapband.com

I found this website and did a search of doctors in my area -- I came up with Dr.Kieth Kim of the Florida Hospital is Celebration City Florida. I called up the center and spoke with a lovely woman who told me they had these little seminars at the hospital explaining the procedure and that I didnt have to see my primary at all ( http://www.floridabariatric.com/ )

At the conclusion of the doctor’s talk, they will go over the paperwork to get you started with their program and also will discuss fees and insurance coverage of the surgery.

So they are very helpful! I am sooo excited. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Tracy,

I read that you are attending the seminar this Saturday. Are you attending Dr. Malley's seminar at the Holiday Inn Mission? If so, I will also be attending the 10:00 seminar.

I've been reading these boards for a few months now and have written down the names of some local members so if I ever decide to do this, I can contact this group of people to get more detailed info on how they are doing since surgery.

Maybe I'll see you there.

Sharon

Sharon: Yes, that is the one I am attending....... I'm excited. My dh is attending with me, because he really has no clue what it all entails.

I am praying that my insurance journey goes smoothly because I would really hope to be banded late January or Early Feb....

See you tomorrow.
