Baby Food?

Okay... Is this crazy to think that baby food might be the easiest thing to eat during the purée phase? I'm talking the sweet stuff... not the baby food veggies and putrid-smelling stuff! I adopted a 5 year old, so I've never been through the baby food phase... what is the best brand?

  • If you're looking for something convenient and organic, Ella's Kitchen is amazing. It's in a pouch so it's perfect for tossing in your purse for a busy day.

  • Great ideas but at this point you need protein so I would make sure you're getting your protein and there's not much in the sweet stuff and baby food

I can't say what the best brand would be because I made all my baby food. But why don't you steam, boil or bake something and purée it yourself using a food processor/ blender? That way it's super fresh and you can season it the way you like? You can google baby food purée recipes and get a ton if ideas.

I'm not sleeved yet but I was actually thinking about this the other day lol! I'm curious as to what others will say as well. :-)

Good idea! I know I could totally make my own, but I'm all about convenience right now! I have too many other responsibilities and I thought it could be a quick fix, ya know? But as soon as I get some time to experiment, that could be fun!!

I like the beech nut baby food! I think there pretty easy and convenient. A nice amount for us at 4oz.
