dont drink and eat. WHY?

what i have noticed is that I can actually eat a lot more when i drink during meals... I have now innitiated a no drink and eat clause with myself.... LOL... But its funny, I had heard that they dont want us to drink and eat at the same time but i didnt know why.. maybe they have their reasons,... but i have mine... and thats it. just a tip
