I'm new too

Hi, my name is Laura and I am a 46 yr old nurse from British Columbia, Canada. Coincidentally, my BMI is 46, too and I am considering banding.

I am probably going to go to a private clinic or the US because banding isn't covered by my provincial health insurance anyway, and if I decide to do it I don't want to wait 2+ years. Any info you Canadian folks have about banding (especially where to go) would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Laura

Hi Laura, welcome!!!...if you look at the bottom of the screen you will see a little box written "forum jump" and in there, way at the bottom, you'll find a Canadian Lapband Support Group. I'm sure some fellow Canadian can help you. Take Care ! Gigi
